About the position
Quantix is seeking a Quantitative Researcher to develop predictive models, analyze complex market behaviors, and identify actionable insights across digital asset markets. You will work with large datasets, quantitative frameworks, and algorithmic techniques to uncover inefficiencies, structural patterns, and emerging signals. This role is highly analytical, research-driven, and central to building the intelligence powering our asset management ecosystem.
Job responsibilities
- Research, design, and test quantitative models for prediction, risk analysis, and market behavior understanding.
- Analyze market data, on-chain activity, liquidity flows, and alternative datasets to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Develop and iterate on factor models, statistical signals, and alpha-generating hypotheses.
- Perform time-series analysis, volatility modeling, scenario testing, and probabilistic forecasting.
- Collaborate with ML teams to integrate predictive models into production systems.
- Conduct backtesting, simulation, and performance evaluation of research strategies.
- Build internal tools and research pipelines to streamline faster experimentation.
- Present findings, insights, and model behavior to internal teams with clear, data-driven explanations.
- Monitor live model performance and contribute to ongoing refinements.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and quantitative modeling.
- Proficiency in Python and numerical libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar.
- Experience with time-series analysis, forecasting techniques, or market modeling.
- Ability to work with large, noisy datasets and extract meaningful patterns or correlations.
- Familiarity with backtesting frameworks, simulation tools, or research workflows.
- Understanding of market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, or digital asset behavior (preferred but not required).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and hypothesis-testing mindset.
- Ability to translate complex quantitative concepts into clear insights and practical recommendations.
