About the position
Quantix is seeking a Quantitative Trader to operate, refine, and expand systematic trading strategies across global digital asset markets. You will work with predictive signals, market microstructure insights, and advanced execution systems to generate consistent performance. This role combines research, strategy execution, and real-time decision-making — ideal for someone who loves markets and thrives in fast-moving environments.
Job responsibilities
- Execute and monitor systematic and semi-systematic trading strategies in real-time.
- Analyze market conditions, volatility regimes, liquidity shifts, and order book behaviors to optimize execution.
- Work closely with quantitative researchers to test, refine, and deploy new trading signals.
- Manage risk exposure, position limits, and strategy constraints across multiple venues.
- Monitor model behavior, slippage trends, and fill quality to improve trading performance.
- Participate in developing execution algorithms, trade routing logic, and market-making components.
- Review performance analytics daily and propose improvements based on statistical evidence.
- Maintain high levels of discipline during live trading, following established procedures and risk guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate trading tools and automate workflows.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of market microstructure, order books, and liquidity dynamics.
- Skills in analyzing time-series data, volatility, and market behavior.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language used in trading workflows.
- Familiarity with execution systems, APIs, or trading platforms.
- Strong quantitative thinking and ability to evaluate strategy performance statistically.
- Ability to remain calm, objective, and data-driven in fast-moving environments.
- Experience with digital asset markets, derivatives, or high-frequency environments (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined operational mindset.
